When I started to study Taoism I was not a Jew. I was borne in Italy, and raised up as Catholic. I also studied eastern traditions since very young age and left Catholicism in my teens. When I started to study the inner Alchemy of the Tao by chance I came also in contact with the Jewish mystical tradition of Kabbalah. I found that the two where very similar and more I found that some concepts from the Taoist tradition that where hard to understand for me because expressed in (translated) words of a eastern tradition where much more clear to me trough the language of the Kabbalah; a perfect link being a middle east tradition. I'm not claiming here that the two traditions say the exactly the same things or are the same. I'm just walking the path of their similarity to help the understanding of one with the practices of the other, when that is possible. Since many people involved in Taoist study came from a western tradition I thought this could be of help. Also many kabbalah concepts seem to fit Taoist practices and there are few if any techniques for practical kabbalah publicly available; so possibly one can help the other.
In the next links and pages I will try to go trough some prayers, blessings and ideas connecting them with actual chi gong practices. I'm not a Kabbalah teacher, so for any teaching I will try to be very clear when these are teachings of other Rabbis or my personal interpretations.
I hope this work will help.
Love and blessing to all.

Here a playlist about the morning blessings traditionally recited in the morning prayers. This is an alternative way to approach them. Enjoy!
